Estate', 19 Sept to 16th Oct 1974 is an exhibition about a housing estate in Ferdinand Street, Chalk Farm, London by Mike Goldwater. Two children had just dropped a bottle of milk when the photographer was walking through the estate. He made a large print of the photograph, nailed it up in the same location and photographed and interviewed people as they came by. The interviews, which were done by Pete Johnson, revealed how people felt about the estate. As well as quotes from these interviews placed under the photos, and an edited version was played on a tape recorder in the gallery.
