December 1977 Little Big Show in Whitechapel Art Gallery. Nickey Hughes, who joined the staff at HMPW, with her son. Tom Picton had borrowed a 10 x 8 camera and lights from the Royal College of Art to set up a portrait studio. We persuaded Polaroid to give us several boxes of their 10 x 8 instant film and offered people who came to the show the opportunity to have their portrait taken and keep their 10x8 Polaroid print.
